Androgens (ATC Code: G03BA03)
Indications:
Testosterone propionate is indicated for use in male patients with confirmed testosterone deficiency (hypogonadism), including both primary and secondary forms. It may also be used in specific clinical scenarios such as delayed puberty in adolescent males (under strict supervision), or as part of palliative treatment for androgen-responsive breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
Therapy should be initiated only after confirmation of androgen deficiency through clinical evaluation and laboratory testing.
Dosage and Method of Administration:

Due to the relatively short half-life of testosterone propionate, more frequent dosing may be required compared to other testosterone esters. Dosage should be adjusted according to the patient’s clinical response and serum testosterone levels.
