Clenbuterol

Product Name: Clenbuterol

Active Ingredient:
Clenbuterol Hydrochloride

Description:
Clenbuterol is a selective β₂-adrenergic receptor agonist, commonly used as a bronchodilator for the treatment of respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and improving airflow to the lungs. Clenbuterol is also used off-label as a sympathomimetic drug with mild expectorant properties to ease breathing. Although primarily prescribed for respiratory disorders, it has also been used for its thermogenic effects in the context of weight loss and fat burning.

Therapeutic Indications:

  • Sympathomimetic Bronchodilator: Clenbuterol is indicated for the management of asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other conditions that involve bronchospasm. It works by dilating the airways, thereby improving airflow to the lungs and reducing the severity of respiratory symptoms.
  • Mild Expectorant: It also has mild expectorant effects, helping to loosen mucus and facilitate its removal from the respiratory tract.
  • Off-label Uses: Clenbuterol may be used off-label for weight loss, body fat reduction, or muscle preservation, although its use in this capacity is controversial and not approved in all regions.

Dosage and Administration:
Clenbuterol is typically taken orally. The dosage will vary depending on the condition being treated:

  • For asthma or COPD: The usual starting dose is 0.02–0.04 mg once or twice daily, and it may be adjusted depending on the patient’s clinical response.
  • For expectoration: A lower dose is generally recommended, and the duration of use should be determined by a healthcare provider.
